I have a subaru forester 2018. I had purchased yakima Jay Low kayak carriers only to find out that the crossbars say, "not for kayak use." As it turns out, crossbars are very expensive and I am clueless as to why these should not be used for Kayaks. Are these recommended for kayak use?
